Translation

We translate in-house into English from Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Dutch in the fields of company annual reports, finance and commerce, medicine and the pharmaceutical industry, the environment, sustainability reports, health and safety, tourism and EU documentation. In addition, translations from other European languages and in other subject fields can be supplied through colleagues who are members of professional associations such as the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) in the UK and the Swedish Association of Professional Translators (SFÖ) in Sweden.

Language Revision

We offer revision of English written by non-native speakers, in particular by speakers of Scandinavian languages. We have many years' experience of revising academic texts (journal articles, university theses) to make them read as they would if written by native speakers of English, an important consideration in trying to communicate clearly with the intended readership.

Proofreading

We can provide proofreading of translations and other texts prior to publication to check for spelling and punctuation errors, non-compliance with style rules etc.
